We blend natural aggregates together—usually stone particles somewhere between 2mm and 6mm—with clear polyurethane resin, and then we carefully spread this mixture across a properly prepared base using trowels. After it’s had time to cure properly, what you end up with is a solid surface where you can still see the individual stones, all bound together nicely. It creates this lovely textured finish that’s really pleasant to walk across.
The resin-bound method is permeable, which means rainwater actually flows straight through the surface instead of sitting on top. This is crucial for meeting drainage regulations and just makes practical sense really, because you won’t be left with puddles forming every time it rains.
